A threaded insert is a cylindrical part obtained by successive turning operations. These operations are designed to produce an external thread and an internal thread. In this way, the threaded insert can be assembled into a component, either to reinforce it or to enable a second component to be assembled by means of a screw that will be secured in the thread of the insert.
