A wood insert is a cylindrical part obtained by successive screw-cutting operations. These operations are designed to obtain an external thread specific to its installation in wood, as well as an internal thread. The WOOD insert will only be installed by self-tapping in wooden materials, either to reinforce it or to enable the assembly of a second component using a screw that will be secured in the insert's thread.
